5 Tips to spring into shape

  1. Do what works for you or change it up
Did you having a running routine that you enjoy? Did you buy a number of passes to a fitness class that you committed to? If it has worked for you in the past try to see if it works again, or try something new. Have you tried a tabata class? I offer a tabata class twice a week!
  2. Eat better. By changing your diet you'll feel better and that may motivate you to keep up your fitness regime.
  3. Exercise at a different time. Have you always been someone who hits the gym right after your 9-5 job? Try working out before work, studies say it gives you more energy throughout the day if you start in the morning.
  4. Write out your goals. Prepare yourself by writing our your goals - long term and short term. Tell it to someone or write it on a piece of paper and stick it somewhere that you will see it often to remind you of what you're working towards.
  5. Grab a friend. It's always easiest when you have someone else to do it with then to exercise alone. Grab a friend and once a week do something like run the Dundurn stairs, rollerblade the pier, pick up a tennis racket or come to my trail fit class!
