Sixty-seven women are diagnosed with breast cancer every day in Canada! As many as 24,000 women and men will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year and as many as 2,500 of them could die. The good news is that the national five-year survival rate for breast cancer is at an all-time high of 88% thanks to the efforts of organizations like the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and their vision to create a future without breast cancer.
Fundraising works and so that is why I have decided to participate in the 2015 Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure this coming October 4th and I am asking you to join me.
We are aiming high this year and we really need your energy and enthusiasm to help us reach our goal! The money raised by you and the rest of the team will help fund Canadian researchers exploring the diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and prevention of breast cancer.
This is an easy, fun, and collaborative way to put an end to an awful disease so please, say you’ll join us on October 4th and share this experience – the more the merrier! Imagine how much impact we can have on the lives of people affected by breast cancer!
You can walk or you can run, but please first click the link below to register for the team!
