NEW YEAR - PLAN FOR SUCCESS
 
Happy New Year Everyone.  This is an exciting time of year in the fitness industry because you are all so keen to get fit, keep fit and make some resolutions.   Whether you want to run a marathon (or a 5 km), cycle the Ride to Beat Cancer (or ride the waterfront trail) or simply get stronger and leaner you need to make a commitment to your goal.  Plan to succeed by planning!
 
Here are some tools you can use to help
 
1.  Use a heartrate monitor (this will keep you honest and safe)
 
2.  Track your nutrition and exercise 
 
3.  Balance your training by including cardio, strength and flexibility.  A great time efficient workout is Tabata and I just happen to have a couple classes running at 8am on Mondays and Thursdays.
 
4.  Include a mind/body workout each week such as pilates, yoga, stretch
 
5. Train with a trainer or a buddy to keep you accountable
 
Training starts today so let's tackle 2015 with a plan!
 
*limited space available in Tabata class on Mondays at 8:00am, pilates reformer on Mondays at 9:00am and pilates mat class on Wednesdays at 7pm
